Q. Is GFR PRO VCGLR compliant?

Yes. Almost every GFR PRO venue has been audited by VCGLR inspectors and passed audits.

Q. What is required to use GFR PRO?

Because GFR PRO is a server based system you will need the following
  • Fast Speed, reliable internet access.
  • A static IP address.
  • A computer terminal in your strong room and each cashier cage (you may use your current computer at these locations).
  • A printer hooked up to these computers.

Q. Don’t I have to read my hard meters every day?

No! The VCGLR Auditing Requirements 2012 states that hard meters only need to be read when the venue is performing a gaming float reconciliation (weekly) and on the last day of the month.

Q. Is GFR PRO safe?

Yes! GFR PRO is hosted at a secure server site in Melbourne and all information is continually backed up to ensure no information is lost.

Q. Can staff log onto GFR PRO from outside the venue?

No! Staff can only log onto GFR PRO from inside the venue.

Q. Can managers and owners log onto GFR PRO from outside the venue?

Yes! Users with a management password can log onto GFR PRO from anywhere in the world 24/7.

Q. Are we limited to one particular search engine?

No! GFR PRO will work with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome.

Q. If a refill is metered twice, will we have to put another refill into the machine?

No! GFR PRO only takes what refills have come from the cashier to balance the hoppers, not the meter.

Q. How is GFR PRO more secure than other systems?

If your cashiers are out more than $20, coin clearance and hopper weighs out more than $20 or if the BNA clearance is out at all, managers and or owners receive an sms advising of such. You will also print out daily and weekly reports advising variances and possible theft. Staff will know that you are on the ball.

Q. What level of support will I get from GFR PRO?

GFR PRO offers 24/7 telephone support (conditions apply). Support staff at GFR PRO can access your system so most problems will be fixed in under 5 minutes.

Q. What does the annual fee entitle me to?

The annual fee entitles you to free upgrades throughout the year as well as telephone support.

Q. Can I request custom reports?

Yes! GFR PRO will endeavour to produce custom reports for you upon request. You will also have access to other reports requested by other venues
